How to get more out of Battleship Challenge

Every hit triggers a prompt from the tier you chose. Choosing a spicier tier than either of you actually wants is the fastest way to make someone stop answering.
Play the prompts, not the grid
Sinking the fleet takes a while. The stories that come out of the hit prompts are the reason to play, so answer them properly rather than racing to the next coordinate.
